After discovering that both orange AND red M&Ms were in its presence (when the contract explicitly said that only orange were acceptable), Bloodline Blood Orange IPA locked itself in its dressing room. It didn't care that we had a conference (the Craft Brewers Conference, to be exact) to attend. It was offended to its core and made it perfectly clear that it was not coming out. 

And even after offers of orange peanut M&Ms and even the more allusive orange peanut butter M&Ms, Bloodline stayed put, only opening the door once for a cowering assistant and, naturally, for a regular delivery of Diet Sunkist and cigarettes. 

After weeks of begging, pleading, and agreeing to name firstborn children after various Pantone shades of orange, Bloodline has emerged. Not with mascara-stained cheeks, a raspy voice, and wavering hand. It is big, bold, and badass as ever. And it's finally coming to DC.
